Template:delete

[hariri]

Please fix this template; it needs to add pages to a category as noted on the talk page. Once this is done, I expect you'll find many pages to delete which automagically appear in that category. Mike.lifeguard | @meta 20:36, 29 Januari 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'll get to renaming it and creating a cat; in the meantime it is used nowhere ;-) Robert Ullmann 00:32, 30 Januari 2008 (UTC)Reply

Invitation

[hariri]

As an Administrator, you are allowed into #wikimedia-admin, the cross-wiki coordination channel for Wikimedia administrators. Any member of the channel can invite you in temporarily, but you need an invite exemption from a channel operator to get in whenever you want. Please come to #wikimedia and ask for an invite.

Any admin from any project is welcome and it is a good place for cross-wiki coordination of vandal and spam fighting. It is also useful for new admins to contact more experienced admins in real-time to get help with the more complicated admin tasks such as history merges/splits and importing via Special:Import.

Please remember to translate the interface at betawiki: only and to upload images preferably at commons:

- that You know already :o)

Just give me a poke in #wiktionary if You want in the #wikimedia-admin channel too.

Hello, Robert. Mambo vipi mtu wangu? Kazi njema! You really need to learn Kiswahili, cause I don't think if I'll be able to write proper English. According to your Wikibabel, you wrote if you can speak Kiswahili cha msingi! Kama vipi komaa everything will be okay, I'm here to help you at anytime, Tchao....--Muddyb Blast Producer 14:07, 4 Juni 2008 (UTC)Reply

I saw so many a new users has just registered in to this Wikamus, is this what people you told me?--Muddyb Blast Producer 14:18, 4 Juni 2008 (UTC)Reply
It seems as you don't have a time to respond a msg from someone else, don't you. No kindly spare bit a time. Cheers,--Muddyb Blast Producer 13:02, 5 Juni 2008 (UTC)Reply
I have time. I am also doing a few other things, eh? (;-) Yes, the new users are the project I referred to. And your English is pretty good. Robert Ullmann 13:04, 5 Juni 2008 (UTC)Reply
I have some proposal. There's one of new user named Alex Kiboro, that user I asked to change his name - especially that Kiboro. Kiboro has bad mean in Kiswahili language, but he seemed as he didn't understand the sittuation. So, I'm begging you to have briefly time to talk to him (and even to tell him to change his entire Kiboro name). Last soon, he changed his name from Alex Kiboro to Kiboro Alex, but still problem persist while to mention such a name. Please ask him to change his name (Kiboro). Kindly your needed to converse with him.--Muddyb Blast Producer 13:33, 5 Juni 2008 (UTC)Reply
I see; I'll talk to Rose (I don't know Alex personally) and see what's up. Robert Ullmann 14:20, 5 Juni 2008 (UTC)Reply
I must say I don't understand; I don't know any word "kiboro" (and it isn't in my references), it is a place name (near Lake Turkana) and a not un-common surname (e.g. Wilfred Kiboro is or was MD/CEO of the Nation Media Group). So I am not sure what the problem is? Robert Ullmann 14:33, 5 Juni 2008 (UTC)Reply
I'm very sorry. Kiboro means: Male sex organ in Kiswahili language. If you say Kiboro, is small male sex organ! Did you understand now what I'm telling you? I just can't write an other word of Kiboro, for the sake of society. But you have to know if i'ts not good name. Got me?--Muddyb Blast Producer 13:56, 7 Juni 2008 (UTC)Reply
Okay, we figured out that "kiboro" is a variant diminutive (possibly plural) of mboo. It doesn't really seem to be very familiar here, Kiboro is just a surname. Language is like that, often with names. (Dick Nixon was in fact a en:dick, was called "Tricky Dick", but people still use "Dick" as a perfectly ordinart name ;-).
Oooh, Yes, I agree with you. But that is european trdaitional. For an African tradition, we are not agree with it. But ok, no problem. I understand you.--Muddyb Blast Producer 07:35, 10 Juni 2008 (UTC)Reply

[hariri]

Hello, Robert Ullmann. I want to nominate you for Beareucrat status. We want someone who are going to be Bureacrat. Would you accept it?--Muddyb Blast Producer 09:09, 9 Julai 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes. I think that would be quite good; we won't have to keep asking the Birdy for things :-). Thank you. FYI: I will be in Kigali for 4-5 days. Robert Ullmann 16:21, 9 Julai 2008 (UTC)Reply

Category - Jamii!!

[hariri]

Hello, Robert Ullmann. There are some problem we are focusing. We do not have even a single article which has been added any CATEGORY. It's worthless to have all those articles without JAMII. We have to take it as serious situation - otherwise we'll look nothing, absolutely nothing. I try to look over other Wikis, but they looks so smart and cares on the category. What about us?--Muddyb Blast Producer (majadiliano) 07:18, 22 Aprili 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yes, an important thing to do. We need to figure out the names, and I then add code to template {infl}. Which is why I haven't worried about it yet: when I add the code, the existing entries will all get their language/part-of-speech categories. In English, we use cat names like "French verbs", but that works because names of languages are always adjectives. Robert Ullmann (majadiliano) 02:48, 28 Aprili 2009 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for your response. The name of the category will be "Maneno ya Kiswahili". In that category, each and every word will be available within. What do you think?--Muddyb Blast Producer (majadiliano) 07:19, 5 Mei 2009 (UTC)Reply
Doing the categories by adding them to the code templates won't work (the code templates aren't just used in headers, but also in translations. In any case, we want the categories to be by part of speech as well. I'm getting there ;-) (You added an extra blank line in two of the templates, which breaks the headers and other thing ....) Robert Ullmann (majadiliano) 08:48, 7 Mei 2009 (UTC)Reply
Yes. I've seen it. But I couldn't be able to make it good. But the effort what you made are suppose to be congratulated! Cheers.--Muddyb Blast Producer (majadiliano) 16:28, 12 Mei 2009 (UTC)Reply
