Karibuni[hariri]

Thought this would be an amusing name for a discussion page. I am presently the only sysop/admin on the sw.wikt. I live in Nairobi. I'm more comfortable still writing in English when it is very important to get things just right. Robert Ullmann 13:32, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

Kompyuta[hariri]

This is a 'bot that is writing pages in other languages while we can concentrate on the Kiswahili entries themselves. Please contribute here, as well as both to the entries and translations sections on the en.wikt. Robert Ullmann 13:32, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

These entries will show a number of missing templates while they are being added. Robert Ullmann 16:20, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
Yes, the word is perhaps better "Tarakilishi", but the bot is named Kompyuta. Robert Ullmann 12:36, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Hello?[hariri]

How do you say "hello" in Swahili? I understood that you can say "habari", or "jambo", but there are no articles for them on the Swahili wiktionary. --89.1.55.228 18:15, 12 August 2007 (UTC)

We are working on very basic things, and only 1 or 2 people so far ... "habari leo" is literally how are you today? "jambo" is literally "problem?" (so a response can be "sijambo", "no problem". If you want translations to/from English, the en.wikt is a better place at least for now. Robert Ullmann 12:36, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Habari za hapa nd. zangu[hariri]

Naona majadiliano mda mrefu lakini mengi huzungumzwa Kiingereza, sasa hapo bado sijafahamu lengo kuu ni nini. Maana hii ni kamusi ya Kiswahili, inahitajika watu wote waongee Kiswahili na sio Kiingereza. Basi nami nimeingia hapa wikitionary, natumai tutakuwa ote. Basi tuendelee.--Muddyb Blast Producer 12:51, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
